Irresistible or Irrelevant? Unfortunately, many people choose the second word to describe church. Part of the problem is we often don’t view church as a movement of the people of God to transform our world.
Instead, we often think of church as an hour (or so!) a week when we have a sing and sit time. Too often, it’s difficult to connect what happens on Sunday morning to any life change on Monday morning. No wonder many people feel that church is irrelevant!
What if our gatherings each week were more about encouraging and motivating one another to take up the mission that God invites us to join? What if there was one thing we could do to make what happens on Sunday impact Monday?
Fortunately, there is. As with many things that Jesus invites us to, the answer is simple yet challenging. And that’s what we will be discussing in this message.
